ALL ABOUT INDIAN FOOD

Indian cuisine includes some of the world's most delectable meals and recipes. Don't let anyone convince you otherwise. Yes, we know it's hot and spicy; it's also high in fat and can appear oily and heavy. That should make you wonder if it's even healthy for your body.

Within traditional Indian spices, there is a whole universe of food waiting to be discovered. Many people are hesitant to try it because they believe it to be entirely "curry" and "spicy." The truth is that all palates are represented, from spicy to sweet to hot to sour.

There's a lot to like about the Indian culinary experience. The flavors can be overwhelming, especially if you're cooking from scratch. These aren't the same flavors you may have learned to cook with as a child, such as basil, salt, and pepper, and a bit of rosemary.

What's great about Indian food is that you can experiment with so many different combinations; there are so many possibilities. It blends foundations from many types of food and amps up the flavor. In traditional Indian food, there are roughly 30 or so spices, and each flavor has a specific reason for being present. Many of the motivations stem from the desire to improve one's health, lifespan, and vitality.
